We had an awesome week--way too much stuff crammed into those 8 days, but it was great seeing friends, celebrating life-changing milestones, playing at the beach, and even a surprise trip to the happiest place on earth! It's going to take me a few days to catch up and post everything, especially since I get to sort through 386 pictures from the last week.
So for now, I leave you with the flight out to San Diego--First up, the ridiculous amount of stuff that we had to lug through the airport with us:

We did get wise and checked our carseats for the flight home so we wouldn't have to deal with them through security and during our 55 minute layover in Dallas. But it still is insanely comical to watch us unload everything and put it on the security belt--two computers, 4 backpacks, 2 carry-ons, a computer case, 4 pairs of shoes, sweatshirts, cell phone, wallets, a stroller--it filled the entire belt. I wish I'd taken a picture there. All I'll say is that it is
WAY less stressful when I have Daddy-o with me.
And then the kids on the flight--they did great the first stretch, in the morning. New toys to play with and books to read, and all the excitement of being on a plane. Then came the afternoon when they were supposed to nap--didn't happen. But all in all, the traveling wasn't too bad.

More to come. . .
