As we watched our neighborhood burst into blossoms, and then turn green, we were wondering when the trees in our yard were going to do the same. We apparently don't have any Bradford Pears which are some of the early bloomers. Although we do have a couple of the tree above that just recently came out with these gorgeous flowers.And a couple days later, I looked out the window and saw this in our backyard:
We have a couple of these bushes as well.
I love spring!

I love spring too! Our street is lined with cherry trees, and it looks like a snowstorm outside right now.
I think that first tree with the white flowers is a Dogwood. We have a couple in our front yard. So nice to have some color back outside.

Oh, the dogwoods are the best. We lived in NC (Harnett County)for 2.5 years after we got married, my husband worked in RTP. We loved it there, especially in the spring and fall.
