Green Things

We have started our garden. Daddy-o did an awesome job on the beds (with a little help from the rest of us) and we finally got them into place and filled with gravel and soil earlier this week, and even a few plants. The second bed is still mostly empty, waiting on red bell pepper plants, summer squash, and maybe some beans and whatever else we find. But for now we have 4 different types of tomatoes, zuchini, yellow crooknecks, and cucumbers, and the one little sweet pea that is our only survivor out of all the seeds we started at the beginning of March.

And we've also started the nightly baths again. Bean was enjoying the soft, fine soil pile in the driveway.

Hooray for gardens. I can't wait to plant one....when we get a house...or a place with enough light.

Looks great. I'm jealous about being able to put plants in already. We are filling our new beds this morning, and going to try some cool weather crops - we'll see if they make it. Real planting is another month off.

Your beds look so nice. Our place has too much shade. Last year was a bust for us. I am so jealous!

we'll see if we have too much shade or not--I'm a little scared.
