We're a little late on this post, but better late than never!
His favorite pasttime these days--climbing into any box he can find. He even squeezes himself into the little photo storage boxes that we use for toys.
Yes, we're shocked at how messy you get, too! He's loving food, but must have the fastest metabolism known to man. He's still hovering somewhere between 20 and 21 pounds, depending on the day and the size of his latest meal.
And in the continuing search to figure out if there is some underlying cause for all his allergies (bloodwork came back and he was allergic to almost everything--dogs, cats, grass, trees, cockroaches, dust mites), food issues, and slow weight gain, he went in for an upper endoscopy yesterday. He looked so cute in the little gown. It was a little scary because they had to use general anesthesia, which I wasn't too excited about, but he did great and didn't even cry until they brought him back and he saw my face.
They were basically looking for any condition in his esophogus, stomach, or upper intestines that might offer some answers, but from what they saw, he looks good. They are doing a follow up with some small biopsies they took, so we'll see if there is anything else, and just keep plugging on.
And here's the cleaned up version. I kind of love his crazy long hair, but it was getting so messy. He doesn't hold still very well, so I think we still need to do some touch up work, but it was the best that they could manage yesterday.
At 15 months, he's still not walking, but he's one of the fastest crawlers I've ever seen, cruises on everything, can balance for a few seconds standing, and just climbed up on the couch the other day (but he's still very likely to fall right back off, so that really isn't a good thing). He gives hugs and kisses, says Dada a lot, and might have even finally said Mama the other day and meant it. Always the last. . .
We love this little guy!
